yui iwatsu 11.-13.6. 2025
/costume designer & stylist Seewing presents an exhibition by Japanese costume designer and stylist Yui Iwatsu, showcasing her ongoing Up-Cycle Project, a delicate fusion of tulle dresses, repurposed garments, photography, words, and traces of Japanese culture, reimagined in the Danish landscape.
Through upcycled materials and ephemeral textures, Iwatsu evokes a sense of crystallized time—a moment suspended between past and future. The works reflect her year in Denmark, capturing fragments of daily life and transforming them into poetic silhouettes and narratives.

“Inside the ice, time has been frozen for years.
From this earth, we shape what must be passed on.”
In a world of constant consumption of clothes, information, people, and time, Seewing reclaims what has been left behind and gives it new life. This is a quiet resistance, a shimmering expression of winter’s sparkle in summer light.
We invite you into a space where everyday meets the extraordinary, where discarded pieces become vessels of memory and hope.
