a space to deepen your practice and get more confident working with clay.
this workshop is for those who already know the basics of hand-building and want to keep going – whether you’ve taken the beginner course or worked with clay before.
you’ll have more space to explore your own ideas while still receiving support, feedback, and inspiration. we’ll briefly revisit core techniques like pinching, coiling and slab-building, but the focus will be on helping you develop your personal style and follow your curiosity.
you can choose to work on functional pieces, sculptural forms, or experiment freely. you’ll be encouraged to work more independently, while still having guidance and support when you need it.
you’ll explore
• refining your hand-building techniques
• sketching, planning and developing your own projects
• combining forms and building larger or more complex shapes
• surface decoration, carving, painting and glazing
• working with intention and trusting your process
at the end, you’ll finish with a small collection of thoughtful, personal pieces – made entirely by hand.
